Brighton Beach Volleyball - Yellowave Open Court

Monday evenings beach volleyball open sessions at Yellowave started, All levels welcome ... organised by the Sussex Volleyball Association.

Juniors training 5 -- 7pm, £1pp
Adults session 7 -- 9pm, £2pp (£3 for non-Sussex League players)

Hi all
Coaching is given to the juniors and I can stay on and coach those players who would like to know more about beach volleyball. I will make it to most monday sessions over the summer. If the weather is good then we get loads of people down so that doubles volleyball is impossible. However when the weather is even slightly dodgy not many people come, so if you are a true enthusiast you will get more of a game.

Do you have to be attributed to a sussex league club to come along to the Yellowave Monday 7-9pm sessions? or can any newbies come along? I would be looking to play regularly and to hopefully join a club.

Just to let you all know that the session times have been changed. At the moment they are 8 - 10pm but might change again with the availablity of the court. I am unsure at the moment who is financing these as the Sussex money is running out. I know that Richard Reynolds (Worthing VC) is organising them at the moment in the absence of Freda who is on Holiday.

Beach Volleyball sessions at Yellowave have come to an end as Autumn approaches us, our indoor trainings start on 3rd September, all levels welcome!
